COURT'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS

McQuire: Proven Leadership for Boynton Beach's Future

With a long-standing commitment to Boynton Beach, Court McQuire brings the experience, dedication, and results-oriented approach needed to ensure that our city thrives. McQuire’s record of service and accomplishments demonstrates a strong focus on smart growth, cultural enrichment, and community engagement.

As Vice Chair of the CRA Advisory Board, McQuire worked collaboratively to advance projects that transform and enhance our city. He contributed to the development of the 2025 CRA Strategic Plan, emphasizing beautification, streetscapes, and wayfinding. Notably, he supported the East Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard Entryway Project and has been actively involved in educating residents about the CRA Districts. McQuire also spoke in favor of affordable housing projects and championed special covenants to ensure they remain in perpetuity, including a recently approved affordable housing initiative in District 2.

Court McQuire advocates for reevaluating district boundaries to better reflect our city’s identity, such as creating a Marina District within the Downtown area. Additionally, his focus includes exploring partnerships for Live Local Act projects, such as incorporating a grocery store in or near The Heart of Boynton district, and engaging residents to rename streets in our Downtown, Cultural, and Heart of Boynton districts to reflect our community’s unique heritage.

During his tenure as Past Chair of the City’s Arts Advisory Board, McQuire spearheaded the curation of public art throughout Boynton Beach and played a leading role in organizing the city’s Biennial International Kinetic Art Show, which showcases innovation and creativity on a global scale.

As a Past Member of the City’s Planning & Development Board, his work focused on advocating for balanced development, negotiating with developers for green spaces, setbacks, and mixed-use projects that prioritize retail over excessive, high-density residential.

McQuire also championed initiatives to implement a multimodal connectivity plan, ensuring equitable mobility options for residents and visitors across all districts. His vision includes examining infrastructure improvements (water, sewer/drainage, roads) and continuing land banking opportunities to support affordable housing, retail, and mixed-use developments that enhance Boynton Beach’s vibrant community.

Recently, McQuire stood with a group of residents to protect the historic Andrews House, the oldest historic home in Boynton Beach, from being demolished by developers. Court will always fight to preserve Boynton Beach history.

Together, we can build a city that honors its past

while embracing a bright and inclusive future.
